Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Nampa, ID
Required PPE: Steel-Toed Shoes


Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations in an agricultural environment. This role is responsible for receiving, moving, storing, and shipping materials while maintaining a safe, organized, and clean workspace.

The warehouse receives soil, seed, and other agricultural products from growers. As a result, the work environment can be dusty, and the facility is not temperature controlled. Respirator use is voluntary and available as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, move, and transport materials using a forklift and other warehouse equipment.

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and product accuracy.

  • Count, weigh, and record materials or containers on required forms and documentation.

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.

  • Load trucks and distribute materials to warehouse or production areas.

  • Maintain accurate inventory movement and warehouse organization.

  • Keep the warehouse clean and safe, including:

    • Sweeping floors

    • Cleaning spills

    • Removing broken bags and product debris

    • Maintaining orderly storage areas


  • Follow all company safety, environmental, and operational procedures.

  • Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous warehouse, forklift, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred.

  • Strong attendance and punctuality record.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds regularly.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.

  • Comfortable working in a dusty agricultural warehouse environment.

  • Ability to work in warehouse conditions that are not temperature controlled.

  • Must wear steel-toed shoes at all times.

Knowledge & Safety Requirements

  • General knowledge of workplace safety and environmental procedures.

  • Ability to comply with all company safety policies and guidelines.

  • Forklift experience preferred; certification may be required based on assignment.
