Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (4-day workweek)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs.

The Material Handler is responsible for retrieving and distributing materials to support production, fulfilling customer orders, receiving incoming products, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring inventory accuracy throughout the warehouse.

Please Note: This position is located in an ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) facility. Applicants must be able to provide proof of U.S Citizenship such as a valid U.S Passport or your original birth certificate OR a valid permanent resident card. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Retrieve inventory to fulfill work orders and customer orders.

  • Receive incoming materials and verify quantities for accuracy.

  • Store materials in designated warehouse locations.

  • Complete inventory transactions using the company’s computer system or handheld devices.

  • Deliver materials to production work centers.

  • Print work orders and shipping documents as scheduled.

  • Assist manufacturing teams by investigating and resolving material shortages.

  • Process returned materials back into inventory.

  • Maintain adhesive inventory for work orders and customer orders.

  • Prepare and count materials for outside processing while coordinating with Planning and Purchasing.

  • Conduct scheduled cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

  • Transport materials between multiple departments and locations.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom while supporting 6S standards.

  • Perform additional warehouse and inventory duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory, warehousing, or a distribution center environment.

  • General knowledge of inventory control systems.

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred

  • Lean manufacturing training or experience.
