Material Handler / Scanner

Rural Hall, NC | Short-Term Assignment

Kelly® Professional & Industrial is hiring Material Handlers and Scanners for a warehouse facility in Rural Hall, North Carolina.

This is a short-term assignment expected to last approximately three months.

Schedule

1st Shift:
6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Overtime schedule may be 5:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Days:
Monday through Friday, with overtime required as needed.

Pay Rates

Material Handler: $16.10 per hour
Scanner: $15.10 per hour

Employees are paid weekly every Friday.

Job Duties

Material Handler

  • Operate a manual pallet jack to move products throughout the warehouse.


  • Transport, stage, and organize materials and products.


  • Load, unload, and move products as assigned.


  • Consistently lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.


  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.


  • Follow all warehouse and safety procedures.

Scanner

  • Scan products accurately using a handheld RF scanner.


  • Verify product information, labels, and quantities.


  • Sort, stage, and organize products for shipment or storage.


  • Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties.


  • Maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.


  • High school diploma or GED required.


  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred.


  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.


  • Ability to work required overtime.


  • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.


  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely.


  • Must be available to start immediately.
