Pay rate: $18.25 to $18.75 /HR.

Position Summary:
Broadridge is seeking a High-Speed Insert Operator to join our Inserting Department in El Dorado Hills. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor automatic and semi-automatic high-speed inserting equipment used in the production and assembly of client mailings. You will interpret production work orders, assemble printed materials into finished mail pieces, monitor quality throughout the production process, and ensure all work is completed according to production requirements and quality standards.


Shift Information:

  • This position follows a 12-hour shift schedule.

  • Available shifts:

    • Day Shift: 6:00am to 6:00pm

    • Night Shift: 6:00pm to 6:00am


  • Candidates may be required to work weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor automatic and semi-automatic high-speed inserting equipment

  • Interpret production work orders to determine job requirements prior to production

  • Assemble printed materials into finished mail pieces for client distribution

  • Monitor product quality throughout production to ensure client and company standards are met

  • Operate equipment according to established procedures and guidelines

  • Perform preventative maintenance and authorized equipment repairs as assigned

  • Troubleshoot routine equipment issues and request assistance when necessary

  • Prepare completed mail for acceptance by the United States Postal Service (USPS), when required

  • Support projects of varying scope and complexity while maintaining quality and productivity standards

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Working knowledge of inserting equipment or experience operating high-speed manufacturing equipment

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment

  • Effective time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to meet production deadlines

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating high-speed inserting equipment

  • Experience in print, mail, or manufacturing operations

  • Experience performing basic equipment troubleshooting
