Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $23–$29/hr
Shifts: 2nd and 3rd shift
- 2nd Shift: 2:00pm–12:30am, Monday–Thursday
- 3rd Shift: 7:30pm–6:00am, Monday–Thursday

What’s a typical day as CNC Operator? You’ll be:
- Operating and maintaining various lathe and CNC machines
- Performing basic CNC machine operations from blueprints, drawings, and procedures
- Conducting quality checks using verniers, micrometers, ring gages, plug gages, and pin gages
- Setting up, operating, and maintaining drill presses and turret lathes as needed
- Following production orders to perform designated operations and maintain quality and quantity standards
- Assisting with material handling, including bar stock put away, cutting materials, and managing waste chips and scrap levels
- Processing necessary machine adjustments, including Offset Wear & Geometry
- Maintaining coolant and oil levels on all machines
- Changing collets, tool inserts, tool blocks, and tool holders during setups
- Performing basic maintenance on machines as directed
- Entering programs for preprogrammed parts and eliminating nonvalue added activities
- Maintaining a safe work environment by following company safety procedures
- Performing other duties as assigned
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ related CNC operating experience
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Can read and understand basic CNC part programs
- Are skilled in performing quality checks with precision measuring tools
- Are willing to work in a team-based environment with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Are available for 2nd or 3rd shift hours as specified
