Pay Rate:

$19.50 per hour

Shift:

2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:20 pm), typical work schedule is 6 days per week

What’s a typical day as a Machinist? You’ll be:

• Operating Haas and Bridgeport CNC machines to support brake spider machining, bush and bore, spider drilling, and related processes
  

• Using precision measurement gauges (accurate to 0.0001″) to inspect parts and ensure quality
  

• Loading and unloading parts weighing 10–15 lbs repetitively (100–250 times per shift)
  

• Completing computer work and shift reporting tasks
  

• Rotating between machining cells and supporting material flow as needed
  

• Assisting CNC programmers with debugging and improving programs
  

• Adhering to all site safety guidelines, reporting incidents, and maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
  

• Participating in ongoing Continuous Improvement efforts and training new team members

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have strong CNC machine operation experience (Haas and Bridgeport preferred)
  

• Are skilled in reading blueprints and using precision measurement gauges
  

• Possess basic computer skills for end-of-shift reporting
  

• Meet one of the following: completion of a CNC certificate program, a 2-year associate degree in machining plus 6 months experience, or 2.5 years of machining experience including advanced setup and programming
  

• Have a High School Diploma or GED and can successfully complete the ACT WorkKeys assessment for Machinist classification
  

• Can stand, bend, stoop, and lift 10–15 lbs repetitively throughout the shift
  

• Exercise sound judgment, attention to detail, and excel in a fast-paced production environment
  

• Are available for 2nd shift hours and open to overtime, including a typical 6-day workweek
