Shipping/Receiving Operator – Charlotte, NC
Location: Withers Cove Park Dr, Charlotte, NC 28278
Pay: $20.00/hour $21 Per hour
Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating schedule
Shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Employment Type: Full-Time / Temp-to-Perm opportunity
Job Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
- Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
- Prepare products and materials for shipment
- Shrink-wrap and secure loads for transportation
- Complete shipping and receiving paperwork accurately
- Perform basic computer and data-entry tasks
- Verify product quantities and shipping information
- Stage and organize materials within the warehouse
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Perform additional warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material-handling experience
- Forklift experience required
- Comfortable performing computer and data-entry tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Comfortable working in areas that may have humidity and dry heat
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work a rotating 2-2-3, 12-hour schedule
