Position: Branch Manager
Location: Melbourne, FL
Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)

  • Supervising experience: 2 years (Required)

  • Industry experience: 2 years (Required)

  • Customer service: 3 years (Preferred)

Summary / Objective
The Retail Flooring Store Manager is responsible for timely store opening/closing and ensuring customers receive excellent service.
Essential Functions

  • Plan and manage all store operations including sales, warehouse, inventory management, and more.

  • Perform all duties of counter personnel and warehouse staff (details available upon request).

  • Effectively lead and coordinate 2–10 store employees, using a mix of leadership by example and delegation to maximize outcomes.

  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees.

  • Maintain high product knowledge to answer questions, facilitate training, and resolve customer service concerns.

  • Proactively spot and address potential problem areas within the store.

  • Manage POS system operations, payment processing, and cash/check handling procedures.

  • Follow all SOPs for cash handling and store opening/closing.

  • Train, implement, and oversee procedures according to the FL Employee Handbook and compliance guidelines.

  • Work with the General Manager, Director of Sales, and other management to create an environment for optimal performance within budget.

  • Take full accountability for store operations and outcomes.

  • Conduct safety walks, oversee use of power equipment, and provide coaching on safe work practices.
