Sales Assistant – Hybrid Role
Location: Plymouth, MN (Hybrid – flexibility to work onsite and remotely)
Schedule: Standard business hours; occasional onsite days required
Pay Rate: $23.50
Kelly Services is seeking a proactive and organized Sales Assistant for a dynamic support role with our client in Plymouth, MN. This position offers the flexibility of working both from home and at the Plymouth office. Position Summary:
As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting both internal staff and customers by ensuring data accuracy, facilitating sales activities, managing documentation, and prioritizing work to achieve customer satisfaction and project excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform entry-level sales process tasks, meeting established performance metrics
- Facilitate new customer set-up and gather all required documentation (vendor forms, W9, certificates of insurance, etc.)
- Provide entry-level support to customer sales efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
- Distribute customer communications after sales and installations, resolving customer requests and delivering customized responses
- Review, edit, and organize proposal documents and supporting materials on internal platforms
- Support SAP part number processes, account mapping, and order entry as needed
- Assist with account management, update CRM data, and generate/monitor reports
- Review, submit, and track job packages; process return merchandise authorization (RMA) requests
- Execute other assigned duties to support the sales and management teams
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of applicable work experience, or Associate’s degree with relevant experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Competence in entry-level organizational tasks, with guidance
- Basic understanding of general business and sales concepts
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems (such as SAP)
- Basic knowledge of lean principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
