What’s a typical day as Mechanical Assembler? You’ll be:

• Assembling electrical and mechanical products to completion by following detailed electrical drawings and schematics
  

• Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical assembly fabrication drawings
  

• Working independently while adhering to a production schedule
  

• Participating in shop cleanup activities to maintain a safe and organized workspace
  

• Communicating with Shop Leads regarding quality issues and production schedules
  

• Assisting coworkers and supporting other tasks as needed
  

• Operating within the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality System
  

• Collaborating with Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety employees to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have 2+ years of experience in assembly, including building assemblies, sub-assemblies, and wiring of components
  

• Are highly skilled at reading and interpreting assembly prints, schematics, and fabrication drawings
  

• Possess strong mechanical aptitude and excel at the physical assembly of parts
  

• Have experience in production line assembly and fine manipulation of components and wiring
  

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and experience using handheld power tools and drills (up to 65 in-lbs torque)
  

• Are able to stand, use hands to manipulate objects, and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
  

• Are committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance
