Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18/hour
Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 5am-1:30pm
Location: Onsite, Indianapolis, IN
Benefits: Med/Den/Vis, 401(K), PTO, Paid Holidays

What’s a typical day as a Recycling Associate? You’ll be:

  • Sorting recyclable materials from general waste to support recycling operations.

  • Collecting, cleaning, and preparing materials for recycling processes.

  • Operating and maintaining sorting machinery and balers to ensure efficient workflow.

  • Strictly following all safety procedures and regulations for a secure work environment.

  • Recording processed materials and inventory data accurately.

  • Conducting routine area clean-ups to maintain plant safety and organization.

  • Minimizing biohazard waste and properly handling hazardous materials.

  • Mentoring new employees and supporting a highly collaborative team culture.

 
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have previous experience in waste management, recycling operations, or a related field (preferred, but not required).

  • Are comfortable working in a physically demanding environment that includes lifting, climbing, and manual labor.

  • Possess strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
