Stacker | Contract-to-Hire
Interview: Onsite
Schedule:
- Training (Week 1): 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Regular Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, rotating 12-hour schedule
- Every other weekend off
- $1.50/hr night shift differential after training
Work Environment:
- Non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility
- Loud production environment
- Safety shoes required; additional PPE provided
Position Summary
The Stacker is responsible for safely stacking decking boards onto pallets, inspecting product quality, securing pallets, and supporting production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually stack and palletize products according to production requirements
- Inspect boards for length, squareness, embossing quality, and overall appearance
- Clean boards before the embossing process
- Move materials between pallets, conveyors, tables, and work areas
- Secure pallets by properly stacking and strapping products
- Cut scrap material using a table saw
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Perform general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Repetitive use of hands, arms, and shoulders
- Ability to perform visual quality inspections
