Pay Rate: $30.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Schedule may vary; overtime and weekend work may be required)
Assignment: Medical Leave Coverage

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment overhauls in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring production equipment and facility systems operate safely and efficiently while maintaining accurate maintenance records.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, rebuilds, and overhauls on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records, including labor, materials, and parts used.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or mechanical repair experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all levels of personnel.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking either English or Spanish for safety and operational requirements.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
• Stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work around moving machinery and in typical production environment noise levels.
• Work in varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions.
• May be required to work at heights above 8 feet, operate a manlift, use a respirator, enter confined spaces, or operate production equipment.
• Steel-toe shoes required.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and environmental procedures.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
Ideal candidates are dependable, safety-focused maintenance professionals with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to minimizing equipment downtime.
