Salary: $18.00/hr
Shift: 6:30AM-3PM

What’s a typical day as a Tube Expander Operator? You’ll be:
- Setting up and operating tube expanding machines to secure copper tubes within coil fin packs per engineering specifications.
- Loading and aligning finned coil assemblies, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring precise tube expansion.
- Inspecting coils before and after expansion, monitoring machinery for proper operation, and performing basic maintenance.
- Handling materials carefully, keeping accurate production records, and assisting with tooling changes and setups.
- Following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborating with assembly, brazing, and testing teams to ensure workflow and product quality.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, coil drawings, and work instructions (required).
- Possess mechanical aptitude for operating and adjusting machinery, with strong attention to detail and safety awareness (required).
- Can use measurement tools (calipers, depth gauges, templates) and work with copper tubes without causing damage (required).
- Demonstrate manual dexterity, physical stamina, and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs (required).
- Are team-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality and continuous improvement (required).
- Have a high school diploma or GED and 3–6 months of related experience or training (preferred).
