Position: Supply Chain Administrator
Department: Supply Chain Operations
Weekly Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 am–4 pm (1-hour lunch break)
Salary Range: $24.75–$26.25/hr
Key Focus Areas
PIV Fleet Management & Supply Chain Operations Administration
Primary Responsibilities
1. Process Observation & Documentation
- Shadow key functional staff daily to observe, document, and detail business processes, ERP/software transactions, and standard work practices.
- Develop formal, site-specific work instructions, including annotated screenshots and step-by-step procedures.
2. Data Entry & Record Maintenance
- Enter and maintain ERP/database information for inventory, stock status, and training records, under moderate supervision.
- Retrieve and analyze data to answer inquiries concerning inventory, customer orders, and operational metrics.
3. System Administration & SOP Development
- Administer forklift telemetry software (IQ360) and SharePoint repositories.
- Create and maintain SOPs for system use, data integrity, and governance.
4. Administrative & Reporting Support
- Prepare reports, presentations, and support team training on documented processes.
- Manual tracking and reporting of vacation/sick time.
5. Transactional Support
- Execute recurring ERP and software transactions post-proficiency for supply chain operations.
6. Physical Inventory Support
- Participate in the annual physical inventory (October 8–9, 2026) including prep, active counting, reconciliation, and documentation.
7. PIV Fleet & Operational Support
- Manage the site’s PIV fleet (forklift, tugger, walking stacker) and support improvement initiatives, tugger projects, JSAs, and Train the Trainer activities.
- Administer collision avoidance telemetry (Litumn).
8. Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) Compliance
- Halt work and report major hazards/injuries immediately.
- Comply with HSE standards and regulations, use appropriate PPE, and engage in HSE training.
- Actively correct hazards and promote a safe workplace.
9. Quality & Delivery Execution
- Follow all standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.
- Perform quality checks, control non-conforming material, and ensure proper storage/handling of goods.
- Operate manual/automated equipment to pick, pack, and ship per customer requirements.
10. Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
- Communicate effectively with teams and support staff.
- Participate in training, Gemba walks, 5S, operational audits, and ways to enhance quality/safety/material flow.
- Maintain clean workspaces and perform operator maintenance.
Recommended Skills & Qualifications
Core Skills
- Strong process documentation and SOP writing skills
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.), Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Skilled in data entry, inventory records, and transaction accuracy
- Working knowledge of document management platforms (SharePoint)
- Quick learner with operational software (forklift telemetry, collision avoidance platforms)
Analytical & Organizational Skills
- High attention to detail and organizational discipline
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines accurately
- Basic reporting and data analysis capabilities
Communication & Collaboration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective trainer; able to transfer knowledge cross-functionally
- Works well with diverse teams and operators
Preferred Background
- Manufacturing/supply chain/warehouse/operations experience
- Familiarity with inventory control, physical inventory, compliance-driven documentation
- Exposure to continuous improvement, standardized work, or audit-supported processes (SOX familiarity a plus)
Other Duties:
- Investigation, documentation, and interviews for NH & PSIF incidents
- Floor presence to actively correct unsafe behaviors
- Works with skilled trades/support staff to maintain equipment
- Remains flexible and performs miscellaneous duties to meet business goals
