Salary: $18.00 per hour during training; $19.50 per hour once training is completed

Shift: 6pm-6am; will train on 1st shift (6:30am-3pm) for approx. 3 weeks

What’s a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector? You’ll be:

  • Inspecting incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

  • Verifying product dimensions, appearance, and assembly quality against blueprints and specifications

  • Documenting inspection results accurately on forms or in ERP systems

  • Identifying, tagging, and segregating nonconforming parts for review

  • Communicating defects or process issues promptly to production and quality leadership

  • Assisting in root cause analysis and corrective action activities

  • Supporting final inspection and testing before product shipment

  • Maintaining calibration and proper care of inspection tools

  • Participating in layered process audits and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Following all safety, ISO, and company quality procedures

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Can read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and measurement data (required)

  • Are proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges (required)

  • Have strong attention to detail and can detect cosmetic, dimensional, or functional defects

  • Understand manufacturing tolerances, materials, and processes

  • Are skilled in recording, documenting, and communicating inspection results

  • Possess an analytical mindset to recognize quality trends or issues

  • Are team-oriented with effective communication skills

  • Can stand, bend, and move between workstations for extended periods

  • Are committed to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement

  • Hold a high school diploma or GED (preferred)

  • Have 3–6 months of related experience and/or training (preferred)
