Location: Romeoville, IL
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 3rd Shift
Overview
Kelly is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to join our team in Romeoville, IL. The ideal candidate will perform assigned duties as directed by their supervisor, ensuring all work meets Safety, Quality Assurance (QA), and USDA regulations.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for the production of quality products that meet all customer and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with supervisors as required.
- Follow specific directions and fully understand training on safety, QA, and USDA rules.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
- Assist other employees and supervisors when requested.
- Work diligently to meet the production line’s pace and performance standards.
- Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), such as good handwashing and following the employee hygiene plan.
- Consistently follow all USDA guidelines.
- Report any food safety or quality issues to supervisors and/or quality assurance personnel.
- Comply with all customer requirements, when applicable.
- Uphold and maintain the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing.
- Perform other duties as assigned or when volunteering.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow instructions and procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Willingness to assist where needed and work as part of a team.
- Previous experience in food production or sanitation is a plus, but not required.
