Job Title: Machine Operators
Location: Spruce Pine, NC
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:30pm–3:00am (10-hour shifts)
Pay: $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience
Type: Full-time, temp-to-perm

A leading aluminum casting facility in Spruce Pine is seeking Machine Operators to support its advanced lost foam process. In this role, you will help manufacture and finish high-quality cast-aluminum parts in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate grinders and other hand or power tools to process cast-aluminum parts

  • Inspect finished parts for defects or discrepancies, ensuring only quality products are sent out

  • Follow process sheets and standard operating procedures accurately

  • Maintain production goals and complete orders on schedule

  • Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and well-maintained

  • Assist with training new team members as needed

  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to resolve any issues

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Comfortable using various hand tools and operating machines

  • Basic computer skills (data entry, reading instructions, etc.)

  • Detail-oriented with strong visual inspection skills

  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team

  • Good communication and ability to follow both written and verbal instructions

  • Physically able to stand for long periods and lift or move objects up to 50–70 pounds
