At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re passionate about helping you find a job that works for you. How about this one?  We’re seeking a Order Selector to work at a local company in Lakeland, FL 33810. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick and assemble orders for shipment in a temperature-controlled (refrigerated/freezer) warehouse environment, ensuring correct quantities and products as indicated by order tickets or RF scanning devices.

  • Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment to transport, stage, and load products onto pallets.

  • Work efficiently to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals while ensuring all food safety and warehouse sanitation guidelines are followed.

  • Work in cold conditions (typically between -10°F and 40°F), wearing appropriate cold-weather gear and adhering to safety protocols.

  • Label, wrap, and prepare pallets for shipping, maintaining product integrity and stability during transport.

  • Conduct regular inventory checks, report shortages or damages, and assist with unloading inbound shipments as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve order discrepancies and improve warehouse processes.

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and practice safe equipment operation at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred.

  • Ability to lift heavy packages and stand for extended periods.

  • Basic knowledge of pallet jack operation (certification is a plus).

  • Good organizational and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
