Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, temporary opportunity for an R&D Technologist in Midland, MI!
Pay Range: $20-$21/hour
Shift: Monday – Friday | 8am – 5pm
A 1 year assignment with possibility for annual extensions
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and generate samples for laboratory analysis
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot LC, GC, NMR, ion chromatography, and mass spectrometry instruments
- Assist with equipment setup and takedown to facilitate smooth lab operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and meet deadlines
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, analyses, and results
- Provide flexible support to address urgent project needs as required
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in science required; an associate degree in another field with at least 2 years of relevant laboratory experience will be considered
- Strong understanding of organic synthesis theory, chemical engineering principles, or analytical analysis
- Hands-on laboratory skills and experience working with complex instrumentation preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
- High level of initiative, project ownership, and accountability
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive in supporting the needs of the lab
