Sourcing & Procurement Manager

Location: Seal Beach, CA
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Four days onsite and one remote day
Salary: $148,988–$164,248 annually
Bonus: 15%

An established biopharmaceutical company focused on innovative cancer treatments is seeking a hands-on Sourcing and Procurement Manager. This person will report to the CFO, manage two employees, and lead sourcing and procurement activities across a large supplier base.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and develop a Buyer and Senior Financial Analyst.

  • Lead the full procurement lifecycle, including RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, negotiations, contracts, performance, and renewals.

  • Manage at least $15 million in annual spend and a high volume of suppliers.

  • Oversee indirect procurement and capital-project purchasing.

  • Identify cost savings and improve supplier performance.

  • Develop procurement SOPs, policies, and procedures.

  • Partner with Finance and executive leadership.

  • Ensure procurement activities align with applicable GMP requirements.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 10+ years of purchasing, sourcing, or procurement experience.

  • 2+ years of management or supervisory experience.

  • Experience managing at least $15 million in annual spend.

  • Experience supporting a large supplier base; approximately 400+ suppliers is preferred.

  • Strong strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier-management experience.

  • Indirect procurement and ERP experience.

  • Familiarity with GMP requirements.

  • Experience writing SOPs, policies, or procedures.

  • Strong executive communication and leadership skills.
