Pay Rate$24 per hour + $1 shift premium ($25/hr)
Schedule: 2nd shift

  • Monday-Friday 1pm – 9:30pm

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform light maintenance on vehicles (Lube, Oil, and Filter Changes) as well as Tire Rotations/Repair and fluid top-offs.

  • Check in and look for damage on newly delivered vehicles. Update eGAMS (Nissan Fleet Management System Appropriately). Follow protocol for approvals/rejections.

  • Maintain the CV facilities working area to keep it clean and orderly.

  • Perform Vehicle Detailing (wash and vacuum) and general clean up.

  • Perform all aspects of a PDI for both Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. Each PDI must be done according to respective inspection standards and properly noted in eGAMS.

  • Attend training as required to learn about new PDI or other related processes.

  • Utilize a Consult system as needed for recalls or as part of the PDI process.

  • Ensure vehicles are processed for auction and transported to locations as necessary.

  • Provide great customer service for employees/retirees when in the shop for service and other maintenance related items.

  • Order and inventory parts for the shop. Work with oil and chemical suppliers to keep inventory filled.

  • Enter maintenance claims into the DBS system.

  • Serve as backup to office staff handling turn-in inspections and vehicle delivery as needed.

  • Performs other related duties of which the above are representative as necessary.

 

Job Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven experience in an automotive environment (e.g. dealership, Lube Oil Filter shop, etc.)

  • Appropriate time management, customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to interact with both employees/retirees as well as vendors.

A Light Automotive Mechanic job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have three years or more of vehicle maintenance experience (LOF/PDI)

  • ASE Certification is a plus

  • Are comfortable lifting up to 75 pounds

  • Have a high school diploma or GED

  • Must pass an MVR driving screen 

  • Have a valid driver’s license
