Technical Writer 

Kelly Engineering is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support a medical device manufacturer with an urgent documentation project. This person will work closely with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to develop and update controlled manufacturing documentation.

This is a short-term, hybrid assignment requiring someone who can step in quickly with minimal training. The ideal candidate will have direct experience writing highly detailed manufacturing and quality documentation within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of technical writing experience within regulated manufacturing.

  • Proven experience writing controlled manufacturing and quality documents, including SOPs, assembly instructions, inspection procedures, and validation documentation.

  • Experience supporting DHF and DMR documentation.

  • Experience using an eQMS platform such as MasterControl, Veeva, or Greenlight Guru.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical-writing or publishing tools such as Adobe FrameMaker or MadCap Flare.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and document accuracy.
