Location: Hybrid (Remote Fridays)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay rate: $20.00/h
Interview: Microsoft Teams
Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP or CRM experience

Position Summary
The Customer Service Associate serves as the primary point of contact for Owens Corning’s key retail customers, including The Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Menards. This role partners with customers and internal supply chain teams to deliver exceptional service, manage orders, resolve issues, and support business growth through proactive communication and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the main customer contact for strategic retail accounts.
• Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor order status, inventory availability, and delivery performance.
• Resolve customer concerns and provide timely solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Planning, Manufacturing, Transportation, and Warehousing teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Build strong customer relationships through responsive communication and reliable execution.
• Utilize SAP, customer portals, and internal systems to support order management and service delivery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline processes.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment required.
• SAP or CRM experience preferred.
• Experience working with order management, supply chain, logistics, or retail customers is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.

Preferred Experience
• Building materials, manufacturing, or supply chain industry experience.
• Knowledge of retail customer operations and order fulfillment processes.
• Familiarity with Lean, continuous improvement, or process optimization concepts.
