We’re seeking a Customer and Product Support Rep to work at a premier manufacturing client in Johnston, IA. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Pay Rate: $19.50/hour (2-year Contract)
Shift: Contact Center is open from 7am-6pm, Monday-Friday, and candidates need to be able to work any 8-hour shift within that support window

What’s a typical day as Customer and Product Support? You’ll be:
- Providing advanced product/service information and responding to complex customer questions about parts and product-related services
- Taking inbound calls and occasional emails from customers and dealers regarding orders or product inquiries
- Recording and processing special/custom orders, coordinating with relevant teams for delivery
- Responding to escalated issues promptly and providing managerial approvals as needed
- Making outbound calls to allocated customers to build new relationships and encourage continued use of products/services
- Acting as the first point of contact for resolving customer queries and complaints
- Scheduling follow-up actions and entering information into CRM systems to ensure quality data for customer retention and business development
- Conducting interviews with customers to clarify requirements and making detailed notes for client needs
- Adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulatory codes
- Developing capabilities through formal/informal training and ongoing education
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have post-secondary non-tertiary education (required)
- Bring 1 year to 3 years of customer support experience; practitioners able to work unsupervised are preferred
- Possess strong skills in digital communications, customer service, and sales conversations
- Are able to build rapport, manage buyer indifference, and understand customer motivations
- Demonstrate a customer-focused approach and a drive to strengthen customer connections
- Are comfortable navigating challenges and leveraging CRM systems
