Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$22.00 – $24.00 per hour, plus a $2.75 shift differential
Shift:
3rd shift, Monday–Friday, 11pm–7am. Must be willing to work overtime, including 1 to 2 weekends (Saturday and Sunday) at least 1-2 times a month.

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:
- Reading production schedules to determine machine changeovers and production runs
- Starting and stopping machines using control panels, and aligning or fastening machine parts using hand tools
- Threading or feeding film through rollers, adjusting machine temperature, speed, and flow rates
- Observing machine operation to detect defects, making adjustments as needed, and performing quality control checks
- Recording production run quantities and following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Consulting with Team Leads and technical staff on process questions or issues
- Handling materials, loading/unloading, packing, and transporting goods using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts
- Cleaning machines and parts between runs, and following all safety and hazardous material handling procedures
- Supporting other teams through cross-training and assisting as needed
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED (required)
- Bring experience in a manufacturing environment and/or possess strong mechanical aptitude (preferred)
- Are physically able to stand, walk, and lift up to 65 pounds, and complete respiratory clearance if required
- Are comfortable operating or learning to operate a forklift/fork truck
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills and good judgment
- Are willing to work overtime and flexible to work weekends as business requires
- Are eager to learn new processes and contribute in a team environment
- Have basic computer skills; experience with 5S and QA testing is helpful but not required
- Can comply with a 100% non-smoking campus policy
