GLP Support Coordinator – Indianapolis, IN
Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a GLP Support Coordinator for an opportunity with in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with laboratory, quality, compliance, or technical operations experience to support a regulated GLP laboratory environment.
What You’ll Do
As a GLP Support Coordinator, you will help keep laboratory operations organized, compliant, and running efficiently. You’ll coordinate preventive maintenance, equipment installations, pipette verifications, documentation, logbooks, archiving, CSV support, and laboratory ordering while partnering with laboratory teams, IT, AFT, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with AFT and laboratory personnel to schedule and support instrument installations, preventive maintenance, service activities, and associated documentation.
- Generate, maintain, and organize equipment logbooks in accordance with GLP requirements and internal procedures.
- Support annual archiving of equipment logbooks and related laboratory documentation.
- Meet regularly with GLP laboratory teams to review compliance needs, upcoming maintenance, documentation requirements, and operational concerns.
- Assist with Computer System Validation (CSV) activities, including documentation gathering, coordination, and general support.
- Verify that preventive maintenance activities are properly documented and required records are collected and prepared for archiving.
- Coordinate projects, equipment installations, maintenance, and vendor service visits with laboratory staff, IT, AFT, vendors, and business teams while minimizing disruption to laboratory operations.
- Support audit readiness by ensuring equipment records, logbooks, maintenance documentation, and other required records are complete and organized.
- Assist with laboratory ordering, including supplies, equipment-related materials, and service-related needs.
- Track and communicate project status, scheduling impacts, documentation gaps, outstanding actions, and follow-up items.
- Identify opportunities to improve laboratory coordination, equipment documentation, preventive maintenance tracking, and GLP support processes.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Laboratory Science, Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a laboratory, R&D, quality, compliance, operations, or technical support environment.
- Familiarity with GLP, GxP, quality systems, or other regulated laboratory practices preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience maintaining records, logbooks, compliance documentation, or technical files.
- Ability to coordinate activities across multiple groups, including laboratory personnel, IT, vendors, and business partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with consistent follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working around laboratory equipment and supporting laboratory operational needs.
- Experience with preventive maintenance tracking, equipment documentation, or laboratory asset coordination is a plus.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience supporting a GLP laboratory environment.
- Experience with equipment logbooks, preventive maintenance documentation, calibration records, or audit-readiness activities.
- Familiarity with CSV documentation or computer system validation support.
- Experience coordinating laboratory equipment installations, service visits, maintenance windows, or vendor activities.
- Experience with purchasing, laboratory ordering, or supply coordination.
