Local Brand Ambassador (Part-Time)

Locations:Cobleskill, NY
Pay Rate: $35 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to serve as Local Brand Ambassadors for a grassroots marketing program in select small and emerging markets.
In this role, you will help build awareness of a local delivery platform and drive new customer acquisition through community engagement, in-person outreach, social media, and creative promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities
In-Person Activations
- Represent the company at local events, markets, and community gatherings.
- Distribute promotional and referral materials.
- Engage with residents and local businesses.
- Establish a consistent and positive brand presence in the community.
- Coordinate with local merchant partners as needed.
Referral Outreach
- Proactively share your unique referral code through:
- Face-to-face conversations
- Text messages
- Nextdoor
- Local Facebook groups
- Other relevant community channels
- Face-to-face conversations
- Focus on driving first-order conversions, which will be the primary performance metric.
Social Content Creation
Create and publish four pieces of content per month on your social media accounts:
- Two Restaurant Spotlights: 30–60 seconds showcasing an order from a local restaurant with an authentic review.
- One Referral Drop: 15–30 seconds highlighting your referral code with a clear call to action.
- One Community Moment: Content showcasing your involvement in the local community; company branding is not required.
Additional content requirements:
- Tag the company’s official social media account in applicable posts.
- Include your referral code in the caption or social media bio.
Reporting
- Submit weekly activity summaries to the program manager.
- Report on outreach activities, community engagement, content published, and referral performance.
Qualifications
- Must live in or near Rushville, Indiana; Waconia, Minnesota; or Cobleskill, New York.
- Established social media presence and engagement preferred.
- Local followers or strong connections within the community are a plus.
- Friendly, proactive, and comfortable with in-person and online outreach.
- Able to represent the company positively and professionally.
- Available to work approximately 10–15 hours per week for the duration of the six-week program.
