Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday | 4:30 AM–3:00 PM

About the Role
We are seeking a Production Technician I to join our manufacturing team in Sumner, WA. This is an entry-level, hands-on production position focused on manufacturing plaster molds used to create composite parts.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required—training is provided on the job.
What You’ll Do
- De-mold plaster parts and clean molds according to established requirements.
- Prepare molds for the curing process.
- Pour liquid plaster into mandrels to create molds according to Standard Work Instructions.
- Perform light hand sanding and remove excess plaster from molds and floors.
- Operate production equipment and tools safely and correctly.
- Move and position molds weighing approximately 10–200 lbs.
- Use two-person lifting techniques for heavier molds.
- Follow production schedules and maintain required production timelines.
- Follow Standard Work Instructions, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to keep production moving.
What We’re Looking For
- Manufacturing, production, construction, warehouse, assembly, or other hands-on experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to learn new equipment, tools, and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on tasks.
- Comfortable working around plaster, dust, and production materials.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials with assistance as required.
Physical Requirements
This is an active manufacturing position requiring employees to be on their feet and working with materials throughout the shift.
You should be comfortable with:
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Bending, reaching, kneeling, and working in various positions.
- Performing light hand sanding and repetitive hand movements.
- Handling plaster and production materials.
- Lifting and moving molds weighing approximately 10–200 lbs. with team assistance as required.
