Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $17/hr
Shift: 2nd shift – 4:00pm – 12:30am

What’s a typical day as a Quality Inspector? You’ll be:
- Inspecting components to ensure they meet quality requirements.
- Recording all defects found on the bench, pallet, or shipping dock, and obtaining appropriate signatures.
- Alerting operators of all defects found during inspection.
- Monitoring both the quality produced by the assembler and your own quality of work.
- Writing up defects for returned brakes, including all associated names.
- Supporting quality, safety, and production goals and requirements.
- Participating in continual improvement efforts and performing other duties as assigned.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Bring at least three years of industrial quality manufacturing experience (required).
- Are able to perform computer functions as required.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prefer candidates with leadership and quality training experience.
- Are familiar with blueprint reading, layout practices, gage control, and coordinate measuring machine experience (preferred).
- Are comfortable working in a factory environment and using personal protective equipment.
- Can frequently lift or move up to 40 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Are committed to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
