Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Mountain UT 84005
Hourly Pay Rate: $22.50hr
Shift: 7:30am to 4:00pm
Assignment: Temp-to-perm
About the Role
As a Material Handler, you will work in a traditional warehouse environment, accurately picking and moving parts to fulfill customer orders, maintaining organized work areas, and ensuring accurate inventory records. This role may convert to permanent based on your performance and attendance.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, move, and place parts per customer and work orders, following proper procedures and documentation
- Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents to determine materials to be gathered, distributed, or shipped
- Communicate effectively with customers, third-party vendors, and internal teams to verify and escalate service orders as needed
- Move items from racks, shelves, bins, or bulk containers per predefined sequences (by size, type, color, style, or product code)
- Assist in counting and tracking materials/items received or distributed; participate in inventory counts as needed
- Maintain inventory control and ensure records are accurate and up to date
- Ensure timely and accurate shipments and receipts
- Organize the facility, warehouse, and work areas for orderliness (5S and housekeeping duties)
- Unload, de-palletize, and transport server racks to designated locations
- Receive, check, and book deliveries; assist with unboxing and re-boxing items as needed
- Respond to and resolve inquiries related to receiving and tasks
- Other duties as assigned to support production and site KPIs
Key Qualifications
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating a forklift, electric tug, and/or pallet jack preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, able to work collaboratively with a diverse group
- Flexible availability for overtime or shift changes as required
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work instructions, and procedure manuals
- Adhere to the company’s quality management processes and policies, supporting company objectives
- Follow environmental, health, and safety standards and regulations at all times
