Kelly Education is hiring Substitute Teachers to support Volusia County Schools. If you’re looking for a flexible and rewarding opportunity to positively impact students in your community, we’d love to have you join our team!

As a Substitute Teacher, you will provide classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher, maintain a positive learning environment, and help students stay on track with their daily lessons.

Responsibilities

  • Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.

  • Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.

  • Manage classroom behavior using school policies and procedures.

  • Take attendance and complete any required documentation.

  • Communicate effectively with school staff and administration.

  • Encourage student participation and support student learning.

  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
