Facilities/Equipment Technician – East Providence, RI
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30am–2:30pm

Pay: $28–$35/hr

We’re looking for a hands-on Facilities/Equipment Technician to help keep production equipment, tooling, and facility systems running safely and reliably. You’ll work alongside engineering, operations, maintenance teams, contractors, and vendors to troubleshoot equipment, support facility projects, build fixtures, and keep preventive maintenance on track.
If you’re mechanically inclined, comfortable troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic systems, and enjoy building, repairing, and improving equipment — this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, tooling, fixtures, and facility systems.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic control-system issues.

  • Assist with equipment installation, moves, upgrades, and commissioning.

  • Build and modify fixtures, tooling, and production equipment.

  • Complete maintenance work orders and keep equipment records up to date.

  • Support facility repairs involving lighting, plumbing, compressed air, and ventilation.

  • Work with engineering, vendors, contractors, and production teams on improvement projects.

  • Travel to the Sanford, ME facility approximately 3–5 days per month.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance, equipment repair, facilities, or manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Hands-on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.

  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.

  • Ability to read schematics, drawings, manuals, and technical instructions.

  • Preventive maintenance or CMMS experience is a plus.

  • CAD, welding, machining, fabrication, or fixture-building experience is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
