Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20.00 per hour

What’s a typical day as Line Lead? You’ll be:
- Leading the assembly line team to meet daily production, quality, and safety goals under the direction of the Assembly Department Supervisor.
- Running day-to-day tasks in the absence of the supervisor, ensuring smooth operations.
- Keeping the work area clean, safe, and organized, and ensuring compliance with all safety procedures.
- Troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring that raw materials and finished goods meet quality control standards.
- Reporting quality issues, production quantities, and staff matters to the supervisor.
- Coaching, cross-training, and motivating assembly staff to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Handling materials, waste, and finished products as needed to maintain workflow.
- Conducting start-up meetings and assisting with documentation and safety procedures.
- Performing additional duties as requested by supervisors or management.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have 3-5 years of production line experience, ideally in assembly or manufacturing.
- Possess LEAN, 5S, Continuous Flow, or Value Stream Mapping background (preferred).
- Demonstrate strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office and Google Apps.
- Excel in communication, problem-solving, organization, and time management.
- Build positive working relationships and can motivate a diverse team to achieve production goals.
- Bring high energy, positivity, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Have strong math skills and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for entire shift, and perform various physical tasks (bending, kneeling, reaching, etc.).
- Can communicate effectively and maintain focus on task completion.
