Job Title: Logistics Analyst
Location: Nashville, TN

Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Occasional after-hours/weekend support required)
Pay: $25.92/hr

Description:
Join our logistics team and provide operational support for parcel transportation activities across North America and international sites. You will serve as a key point of contact for parcel-related inquiries, shipment setup, carrier issue resolution, shipment visibility, and operational reporting. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and parcel carriers—including FedEx, UPS, and DHL—to support daily transportation operations and ensure high levels of customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day parcel transportation activities and shipment management

  • Monitor shipment status, proactively identify service disruptions, and coordinate corrective actions with carriers

  • Investigate and resolve parcel shipment issues—such as delays, lost shipments, billing discrepancies, and delivery exceptions

  • Serve as a liaison between internal customers and parcel carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL)

  • Support parcel account administration and respond to customer inquiries

  • Maintain operational documentation, process guides, and standard work instructions

  • Utilize Excel to analyze shipment, service, and cost data

  • Maintain tracking logs and dashboards to support transportation visibility

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for recurring reviews with freight forwarders

Must Haves:

  • Previous experience in logistics/transportation, especially with air and small parcel shipping

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (knowledge of frequently used formulas), Outlook, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with Power BI is a plus

  • Strong communication skills, especially via Outlook

  • Self-driven, accountable, proactive problem-solver, and able to work independently

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Willingness and availability to provide occasional after-hours or weekend support

Education:

  • Degree preferred, but not required

Experience:

  • Preferably at least 1 year of logistics/transportation experience
