Chemical Analyst in West Cleveland
Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a Chemical Analyst position at a manufacturing facility west of Cleveland OH. The overall responsibility of the position is to provide technical leadership in the laboratory while supporting production and quality activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform chemical sample preparation and analytical testing using laboratory equipment and procedures.
- Provide technical refinement of analytical methods to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Compile and analyze laboratory and plant data to support production and quality objectives.
- Assist with laboratory calibration systems.
- Create and improve quality system procedures, forms, and documentation.
- Support aerospace, customer, and quality audits.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Natural Science, or related field; or 1–2+ years of relevant analytical laboratory experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with metallographic methods and grain size measurement is preferred.
- Familiarity with aerospace quality systems, including AS9100 and Nadcap is also preferred.
