Job Title: Equipment Associate
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $23 – $28/hr, DOE
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will support smooth daily operations through a variety of hands-on tasks, serving as a key resource for our service technicians, sales staff, and customers. This role offers excellent advancement opportunities into our Driver and Service Technician development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check and document equipment conditions—including damage, hours, mileage, and fuel—upon return
- Inspect rental equipment for safety decals and compliance; ensure units are operational and safe
- Clean and prepare equipment; maintain a safe and orderly work environment
- Load/unload rental equipment and prepare it for customer use
- Demonstrate equipment for customers; operate a delivery truck for pickups/drop-offs
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Effective communicator with strong teamwork and multi-tasking abilities
- Attention to safety and superior customer service skills
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
Preferred Experience & Certifications:
- Forklift certification
- Experience in equipment maintenance and repair
- Familiarity with basic tech tools (cordless impacts, wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers)
- Previous industry experience highly desired
- Completion of TWIC and/or ISTC courses a plus
