Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Junction City KS 66441
Work Schedule: Mon – Thu, from 2:30 pm to 1:00 am
Pay Rate: USD 17.00 /hr
Contract Type: TTH
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and manual dexterity
- Previous manufacturing experience a plus
- Able to operate independently and as a team member
- Able to read and follow SOPs, labels, and instructions
- Computer skills for data input
Responsibilities:
- Follow procedures, checklists, and safety protocols
- Build boxes, clean and maintain equipment, ensure tools and supplies are available
- Operate, set up, and adjust equipment to maintain product quality
- Inspect and prepare products per SOPs
- Thread/splice material and handle packaging
- Monitor and record production and material usage manually and electronically
- Clean machinery, equipment, and work area as needed
- Communicate and cooperate with crew for quality, efficiency, and safety
- Identify and label hazardous waste for proper disposal
- Recommend and help implement improvements
- Serve on teams for quality, safety, waste reduction, and lean principles
- Participate in self-development and training
- Exhibit safety and environmental best practices
- Perform other related duties as assigned
