Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour (CONTRACT for 4-6 weeks)
Shift: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday and OT as needed
What’s a typical day as Farm Technician? You’ll be:
- Processing seed, rouging fields, and assisting with hand harvest of samples.
- Collecting, scanning, sorting, and bagging nursery and yield trial samples.
- Cleaning and maintaining farm equipment including cotton picker/combine.
- Lifting up to approximately 40 lbs as needed.
- Cleaning and treating seed, and supporting transgenic leaf sampling activities.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or GED (required). Bachelor’s degree or higher is a plus.
- Are physically able to perform manual labor tasks and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Can commit to a full-time schedule with potential for occasional overtime.
- Are detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to work in a hands-on farm environment.
