Pay Rate $17.00/hour
Shift: Harvest hours run Monday – Sunday 6:00am to approximately 6:00pm, may work 12+ hours or may work 8 hour staggered starts, At least 1 day off per week

What’s a typical day as Quality Inspector? You’ll be:
- Sorting corn to maintain quality of seed and removing discard waste
- Identifying off-type ears, immature or moldy ears, insect damage, crop debris, and junk
- Abiding by safety policies/procedures and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Maintaining cleanliness of the work environment (sweeping, removing debris, etc.)
- Moving undamaged seed forward in the drying process to increase quality and reduce foreign material
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Can stand or sit for long periods and traverse stairs
- Have good eyesight and can clearly communicate in English
- Have reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Are comfortable working in an environment with exposure to dust and corn dust
- Can wear closed toe shoes, long pants, and short sleeve shirts
- Are able to pass a drug screen prior to start
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required)
