Pay Rate: 18.26/hr
Location:  Stephenville, TX 76401
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day; 40 hours per week
Shift: 2nd shift

 

Job Summary

The Assembly Specialist supports machining operations by operating machine tools, monitoring production activities, and ensuring finished products meet established quality, blueprint, performance, and safety requirements. This position works under general supervision and collaborates with Maintenance, Tooling, Quality Control, Methods, and Process teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machine tools according to standard specifications and established procedures.

  • Monitor and control machine operations throughout the production process.

  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.

  • Identify operational issues, defects, or other problems and promptly alert the appropriate team members.

  • Follow all company safety requirements, procedures, and workplace practices.

  • Perform machining-related tasks under general supervision.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Work collaboratively with internal manufacturing and support functions.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma, secondary school diploma, or GED equivalent.

  • Mechanical skills and the ability to understand basic machining concepts.

  • Up to one year of relevant experience.

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and safety procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

  • Ability to work the assigned second shift schedule.

Work Environment

This is a safety-sensitive manufacturing role in a machining environment. Employees must consistently follow safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, and meet established performance and quality expectations.
