Position: Engineering Test Technician
Location: Mentor, OH (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months
Pay Rate: $35.00/hr

What You’ll Do:
- Execute rigorous tests using top-tier equipment measuring temperature, electricity, light, flow, pressure, strain, force, distance, time, noise, and weight
- Collect and analyze data to drive improvements and innovation in our products
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment failures and resolving factory work stoppage issues
- Design, develop, and build qualifying test fixtures and prototypes
- Fabricate, repair, and enhance mechanical and electro-mechanical setups
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with OSHA VPP standards
- Keep meticulous records in laboratory notebooks and online data logs
- Support customer escalations, manufacturing ramp-up, and design transfer for new products
What We’re Looking For:
- A two-year Associate Degree or equivalent/apprenticeship, or specialized study in mechanical and/or electrical engineering
- Proven ability to use drill presses, band saws, metal-working tools, and demonstrate machine shop best practices
- Skilled in operating test equipment and measuring tools for a variety of parameters
- Understanding of wiring/electrical and piping schematics, engineering drawings, and piping procedures
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with data acquisition systems
- Self-motivated, excellent communicator, top-notch team player, and a proactive problem-solver
