Assembly Operator I
Location: Landisville, PA
Pay Rate: $19.80 per hour
Shift: 3rd Shift, 10:00pm – 6:00am

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare machines and equipment for daily use
  

• Perform quality checks and complete related inspection documentation independently
  

• Use inspection tools, understand gauging and visual inspection processes, and pay attention to detailed procedures
  

• Communicate any operational issues to set-up personnel, technicians, or supervisors
  

• Make necessary machine adjustments as needed
  

• Identify product defects, document findings, and notify appropriate team members
  

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other instructions
  

• Perform quality work checks to ensure products meet quality standards

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  

• High energy, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
  

• Experience interacting with mechanical systems
  

• Proficient with inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, optical comparators) for dimensional inspections
  

• Proven experience using inspection data
  

• Basic computer navigation skills
  

• Ability to read and write in English

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift and carry a minimum of 30 lbs safely and dependably
  

• Ability to push/pull at least 180 lbs using a hand dolly
  

• Repetitive hand work and rotation of duties daily
  

• Frequent standing, sitting, walking, and balancing for 8-10 hours per shift
  

• Able to work in uncontrolled climates, including excessive heat
