Join Our Team as a Machine Operator!

Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Machine Operator to work at a premier manufacturing client in Rapid City, SD. Job searching can be easier with a partner—let us help you every step of the way!

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$20.00 per hour ($19.00/hr while training)
Shift: Second Shift, Mon – Fri, 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM (Must be able to train on First Shift)

What you’ll do as a Machine Operator:

  • Prepare equipment and load mail into postal trays

  • Palletize trays and monitor mail quality during operation

  • Assist operators and team members with daily tasks

  • Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment to maintain production quality and reduce downtime

  • Communicate with your team for continuous production flow

  • Follow standardized procedures, emphasizing safety and housekeeping standards

This job might be a great fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Are familiar with manufacturing concepts and procedures

  • Excel in fast-paced, high-speed environments, following instructions rigorously

  • Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, and can multitask effectively

  • Work well independently and as part of a team

  • Possess the physical stamina and strength required

  • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
