Utility Worker
Location: Delaware Water Gap, PA
Pay: $24.00/hour
Schedule: Rotating shifts; must be flexible to work all shifts (see below)
- 1st shift: 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
- 2nd shift: 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
- 3rd shift: 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
Kelly® is hiring dependable Utility Workers for a paper mill operation. This is a hands-on, labor-intensive role involving housekeeping, material handling, mill support, and occasional forklift operation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain housekeeping throughout the mill
- Pick up paper, empty hoppers, remove trash, and clean floors and walls
- Assist with dry-end and wet-end mill operations
- Move materials and supplies using a forklift or other equipment
- Cut cores, slab rolls, band slabs, and stock supplies
- Follow all plant safety procedures and OSHA requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to push, pull, bend, walk, and perform manual labor
- Steel-toe shoes required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, including THC
- Heavy industrial and forklift experience preferred, but forklift experience is not required.
