Job Title: Assembly Worker
Location: Bridgeview IL 60455
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM
Pay Rate: USD 19.00 per hour
Contract Type: TTH
Qualifications
- Ability to learn and follow all safety policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail when inspecting steel strapping coils.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to wear required PPE and follow workplace safety requirements.
- Must provide steel-toed boots. Additional task-specific PPE will be provided onsite.
- Reliable team player with the ability to assist with production delays and changeovers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with manufacturing steel strapping on the strap line.
- Remove coils from rewinder reels using coil carriers.
- Transport coils from the rewinders to the conveyor system.
- Visually inspect coils for obvious defects or markings that do not meet quality standards.
- Transfer spools containing slit steel strapping to the welding position.
- Spot-weld individual straps at the appropriate intervals.
- Support the team in resolving production delays and completing product size changeovers.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
