NetSuite Implementation Specialist
Contract | 4–5+ Months | Remote | Seeking individuals based in the Eastern Zone
Pay: $67–$89/hour, based on experience

About the Opportunity
Seeking a NetSuite Implementation Specialist to support a large multi-entity environment spanning the U.S. and Europe, including the UK and France. The organization currently operates across a number of segmented entities and systems, with different parts of the business following different processes.
NetSuite is intended to become the organization’s core global financial and transactional platform. Approximately 50% of the implementation work has already been completed, including the overall design and implementation roadmap. We are now looking for a hands-on NetSuite Implementation Specialist to join the team and help drive the project through execution and completion.

This is an opportunity for someone who can operate beyond a traditional technical implementation role — someone who understands finance, accounting, financial processes, and complex business requirements, and can translate those requirements directly into NetSuite configuration.

The Role
The NetSuite Implementation Specialist will work closely with finance and application teams to onboard additional entities into NetSuite and make them fully transactional within the platform.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in a complex environment with multiple entities, systems, integrations, and stakeholders. You will be expected to not only execute the remaining implementation work, but also assess what needs to happen next as the organization transitions into a more sustainable operational model.
Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and implement multi-entity financials, consolidation, and intercompany workflows

  • Configure Advanced Inventory, item architecture, costing, and inventory valuation

  • Configure manufacturing and distribution processes, including:

    • Bills of Materials (BOMs)

    • Routings

    • WIP

    • MRP

    • Fulfillment

  • Build and configure NetSuite workflows, saved searches, roles, permissions, reports, and controls

  • Map, test, and troubleshoot integrations with systems such as Coupa, MS Dynamics,AS400/Navision, WMS, and other business applications

  • Support defect resolution, UAT, reconciliation, and cutover activities

  • Work closely with finance teams to understand accounting requirements, financial models, and business processes

  • Translate ambiguous business requirements into practical NetSuite solutions

  • Help bring additional U.S. and European entities into NetSuite

  • Identify gaps, dependencies, and next steps as the implementation progresses

  • Provide hands-on configuration and implementation support rather than relying primarily on external consulting resources

  • Help establish a sustainable model for ongoing NetSuite support and future implementation needs

What We’re Looking For
Required Experience

  • Significant hands-on experience as a NetSuite Implementation Specialist/Consultant

  • Proven experience delivering complex NetSuite implementations

  • Experience working with multiple entities, ideally within a large or global organization

  • Experience supporting international/European entities is highly preferred

  • Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting terminology

  • Ability to speak comfortably with finance stakeholders and understand:

    • Financial models

    • Accounting processes

    • Balance sheets

    • Intercompany transactions

    • Consolidation

    • Financial requirements and controls

  • Strong hands-on NetSuite configuration experience

  • Experience with companies that sell, manufacture, distribute, or otherwise manage physical products and inventory

  • Experience with complex integrations and multiple connected business systems

  • Ability to work through ambiguity, identify requirements, and determine practical solutions

  • Comfortable operating in an environment where the implementation is already underway and approximately 50% complete

What Success Looks Like
The primary objective is to complete the NetSuite implementation and bring the remaining entities into the platform so they can become fully transactional as quickly as possible.
The successful consultant will also help the organization understand what needs to happen next — both from an implementation perspective and in terms of supporting NetSuite once the current project is complete.
This is a hands-on role. We are specifically looking for an experienced individual who can jump into the existing implementation, understand the work that has already been completed, communicate effectively with finance and technical teams, and execute the remaining configuration and implementation work.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a seasoned NetSuite implementation professional who has worked in large, complex organizations with multiple entities and physical products. They can sit down with a finance leader, understand the accounting and business process behind the requirement, and then turn that understanding into hands-on NetSuite configuration.

Someone who has successfully implemented NetSuite across a complex multi-entity organization — particularly one involving inventory, manufacturing, distribution, and international operations — would be an excellent fit.
