Job Title: Retail Sales Assistant – Merchandising
Location: Legendary Drive, Destin, FL 32541
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 12-15 hours per week
Pay Rate: $16.47 per hour
Position Overview
Kelly is currently hiring a Retail Sales Assistant/Merchandiser to support merchandising operations inside Bass Pro Shop in Destin, FL.
This part-time position is ideal for individuals seeking supplemental income, retirees looking to stay active, or anyone interested in a flexible work schedule. In this role, you will help maintain an organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing sales floor while supporting a positive shopping experience for customers.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Previous experience in retail merchandising, stocking, inventory management, or customer service is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock and merchandise products on the sales floor
- Set up, maintain, and refresh promotional displays
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock concerns
- Communicate effectively with Bass Pro Shop team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Lift, move, and organize merchandise as needed
- Follow merchandising standards and planograms
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Previous retail, merchandising, stocking, or inventory experience preferred
- Stable work history is a plus
- Ability to lift and move boxes of merchandise throughout the shift
- Customer-focused mindset and positive attitude
Seasonal Schedule Information
Please note that October through December is the busiest time of year, with increased activity and hours available. Following the holiday season, schedules typically slow down until spring and summer business picks up again around March.
