Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Location: Greensboro, NC
Schedule

  • Third shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

  • Overtime may be required on weekends as needed

  • Training will take place on first shift for several weeks before transitioning permanently to third shift

Position Summary
Kelly Services is hiring a Temporary Plating Operator II operates production equipment and processes parts through the appropriate plating procedures. This role performs equipment setups and changeovers, conducts quality inspections, completes required production documentation, and maintains a clean and organized work area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate plating equipment and process parts according to established procedures.

  • Perform equipment setups, changeovers, and routine preventative maintenance.

  • Maintain plating baths by checking chemical levels and mixing chemicals as needed.

  • Set up and operate manufacturing link systems, lasers, print stations, DI water systems, closed-loop evaporators, and vision systems.

  • Perform quality checks using X-ray equipment, gauges, and other inspection tools.

  • Identify and remove defective parts.

  • Complete all required paperwork and production records.

  • Unload finished material and feed new material into the production process.

  • Transport completed products to the shipping area using a forklift, as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of relevant manufacturing, production, plating, or industrial work experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of company policies and standard operating procedures.

  • Ability to perform varied, semi-routine duties with limited supervision.

  • Ability to recognize when established procedures may need to be adjusted.

  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

  • Ability to work third shift and overtime as required.
