Operations Specialist Lead

We are hiring Operations Specialist Leads for both 1st and 2nd shifts. These positions are responsible for helping maintain a safe, productive, and continuous workflow while supporting associates and daily operations.

Available Shifts

1st Shift 

  • Schedule: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

  • Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience

2nd Shift – 

  • Schedule: 12:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m.

  • Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Required Candidate Qualities

Successful candidates must:

  • Have strong communication skills.

  • Be talkative, friendly, and approachable.

  • Be comfortable communicating with associates, supervisors, management, carriers, and internal or external customers.

  • Be able to help keep workflow moving smoothly.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

  • Be comfortable working on the floor in an assigned area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain continuous workflow by moving associates to the work or moving the work to the associates.

  • Ensure associates are at their workstations and assigned work areas at scheduled start and stop times.

  • Ensure teammates have the tools and resources needed to complete their daily tasks.

  • Troubleshoot workflow issues and understand the technical aspects of the assigned area.

  • Make recommendations to improve efficiency and productivity.

  • Direct personnel, policy, and procedural issues to Management as appropriate.

  • Support the overall Amazon operation, including use of the DWMS system.

  • Release outbound orders and coordinate pickups with carriers.

  • Assist Supervisors in ensuring productivity and quality standards are achieved.

  • Communicate with internal and external customers through email, phone, and team huddles.

  • Provide training, guidance, and support to associates.

  • Run reports and provide report-outs during huddles and meetings as needed.

  • Reinforce the importance of inventory integrity, housekeeping, and workplace safety.

  • Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
